The Louis Latzer Memorial Public Library will provide learning resources and information services that support and improve individual, family, and community life.

The classic facade of the Louis Latzer Memorial Public Library belies its spacious and open interior design. Named for the founder of the Pet Milk Company, the library was built by his famiy and presented to the City of Highland in 1929. Latzer's daughter, Jennie Latzer Kaeser, added a new wing to the library and renovated the original building in 1971. The Jennie Latzer Kaeser Children's Library was opened on the lower level in the fall of 1983.
